Come and hear from Joyce Chimbila, founder and director of A Future 4 Kids Community School in Zambia. Joyce is visiting Australia from Zambia and will be sharing about her ministry, which is currently providing education and hope to more than 200 children living in poverty.
You're invited to Into the Garden—a quiet, reflective space set apart to seek God. This silent, interactive service is shaped by the spirit of Sabbath—restful, restorative, and open to God's leadership. Through gentle prompts, stations, and simple practices, you'll be free to engage at your own pace, exploring prayer, creativity, and stillness without words. This is a space for you to have some time with God alone. Whether you're longing for connection, clarity, or simply space to breathe, Into the Garden offers a sacred pause to meet with God.
This event will begin at 4 pm on Sunday, the 27th of July. You are free to stay as long as you need or to leave when you want. We ask that if you are to arrive after the start time that you honour the stillness of the space and how people may already be seeking God in different ways.

Rex (aka Dick) & Johanna de Koning, from the Netherlands. We are 70 and 69 years of age. We are parents of 6 children and grandparents of 8. We have been missionaries to Thailand for over 35 years. We have officially retired from the Mission, but are still quite active in the LEAF Foundation that we began together in 2012. The LEAF Foundation, (abbreviation of Life Encounter A Foundation) was established under the umbrella of the C&MA in Thailand.
The LEAF Foundation focuses on providing coaching, micro loans and practical help for less privileged youth and families.
Our previous work existed mainly of giving counseling to couples and individuals. We started a counseling clinic in 2001 and it has grown to become a business recently. Our daughter and son in law are running the business now. Johanna still supervises the counselors. The organization can be found here www.NCSBKK.com
ALMA Marriage Encounter was another project we began and led for 17 years in Thailand. We helped to start it in Indonesia as well. Thousands of couples have benefited from ME Weekends and Marriage Builder Groups.
We have experience in leading workshops and seminars in topics regarding marriage, interpersonal skills, communication and many other topics.
Our mission is to enhance the life of families and individuals by various means. Driven by the love of God for His people.
