At 8am on the first Saturday of every month, a group of ladies meet informally for breakfast at Cafe Guru, Coolemon Court. Why don't you join them?
On Sunday 3rd February Ps Andrew Edwards will be installed as Associate Pastor of Woden Valley Alliance Church.
WVAC is in the process of developing a culture of safety practices and a culture of well being across all ministry areas, promoting safety in programs delivered to children and vulnerable people. We will be looking at the new reporting requirements the Elders are asking that all areas of ministry at WVAC comply with. Ministry Leaders are strongly encouraged to attend.
The National Day of Prayer & Fasting will be held on Saturday 2 March 2019. The National Day of Prayer & Fasting in 2019 will be followed by a [40 Day Prayer Relay](https://40daysofprayer.org.au/) starting on Ash Wednesday, 6 March to Sunday 14 April 2019.
WVAC will be joining other believers across the country as we pray for Revival and Transformation for Australia.

Join us for our annual WVAC Family Camp where we will have a mystery to solve! Come prepared to dress up as your favourite detective. Will it be Nancy Drew, one of the Famous Five or the Scooby Gang? Perhaps Sam Spade, Miss Marple or Sherlock Holmes is more your style ...
Our guest speaker for the weekend is Geoff Brailey, a social researcher, strategic advisor and lead Solution Designer at the internationally recognised [McCrindle](https://mccrindle.com.au/). Geoff is married to Krystol and they have 3 children; Olivia (6), Sam (3) and Theodore (3 months).
The theme for this years Christian & Missionary Alliance Annual Council is Discipleship 101. The Keynote speaker is Dr John Soper.

We are looking at taking a team of 10 people into the heart of south-east Uganda for 3 weeks in July 2019. We will be serving in rural areas with a focus on faith, health and education.
We believe this trip may be a little more spiritually confronting than some of our other trips so we are looking for mature Christians to be part of our team.
This info night will look at where we are going, what we will be doing and how to prepare. It will answer common questions and give you an opportunity to ask some of your own.
We are organising a group of women to meet for the OneLove Women’s Convention.
This year, OneLove will be livestreamed and will take place on Saturday 22nd August. The program will run for three hours, featuring international speaker Amy Orr-Ewing (RZIM) and Australian author and speaker Kara Martin (Workship) where they will share what God’s Word says on the 2020 theme, “Come to Me: An Invitation to Find True Rest”.
It will be a great morning of excellent Bible talks and a chance to learn practical wisdom on what scripture says about true rest and how we can examine our lives and priorities to find true rest in God.
