We want to create a space for people to come and fellowship while making items to go in the OCC shoe boxes.
Join us any time from 9.30am to 2pm on Saturday 17 August in the Mission Centre to sew bags for Operation Christmas Child. All bags will be cut out and ready to go.
For those who wish to sew we will have spaces set up for your machines but there will be plenty to do if you are not a sewer and you might just want to come and fellowship.
Patterns will be provided for crocheters and knitters for beanies, bears and bags or bring your own crafts along.
Morning tea will be provided and, if you want to stay over lunchtime, please bring your lunch.
Feel free to invite guests and if you have any queries contact Ann on 0419413967

Be Still is a guided silent retreat for both men and women to help them connect more deeply to God. It is a wonderful opportunity to cocoon yourself away from the world and wrap yourself in the presence of God. In a time and season where life is busy and chaotic God is calling His people to come away, be still and listen with their heart. God speaks frequently about being still, listening, allowing God to move and bringing clarity or healing. Rest is a significant season of trusting God and hearing from Him. Therefore, this retreat will create an opportunity for people to be still, rest, listen & refresh their hearts.
Cost includes accommodation, meals, linen and all sessions.
- $365 early bird
